What are bifacial solar panels?

Bifacial solar panels (modules) have solar cells on both sides of the unit, with glass on the front and a clear fluoropolymer sheet on the back, allowing them to produce up to 25% more energy than the typical monofacial solar panel widely used today. Bifacial modules can be used with standard racking and inverters for any type of solar array.
