How does a solar transmission system work?

The system is designed to allow two degrees of freedom—azimuth and solar elevation—to maximize the collection of incident solar radiation . A preliminary sketch of the mechanical transmission system was created using SolidWorks (Figure 1), which depicted the key components involved in the movement of the photovoltaic panel.
